SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

scholarship winner 2023_edited.jpg

Our Scholarship Committee identifies and recommends students for scholarships.

There are usually two scholarships awarded

in the amount of $1,000 each.

Our  scholarship is available to FALMOUTH RESIDENTS who are high school seniors, college students, and/or previous recipients planning to major or are majoring in HORTICULTURE, LANDSCAPE DESIGN, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE, or RELATED FIELDS.

The Falmouth Garden Club awarded scholarships to four local graduates in 2023 Lauryn McGann, Alexia Morton, Elizabeth Litton and Matthew Shea. Recipients of the club scholarships must be Falmouth residents studying agricultural education, botany, conservation, environmental studies, forestry, horticulture, land management, landscape design, plant pathology science or other related studies.

We were delighted to host three recipients Lauryn, Alexia & Elizabeth and their guests at our Annual Meeting and Scholarship Luncheon held at the Flying Bridge Restaurant on Monday, June 5th.  Matthew was unable to attend so is missing from the picture

The Falmouth Garden Club wishes these fine recipients a successful future as they pursue their education.
