One of the objectives of the Falmouth Garden Club is to encourage the study of and interest in gardening and horticulture. To recognize the time and effort of creating and maintaining beautiful gardens, the FGC annually selects noteworthy gardens throughout the Falmouth area to receive a Garden Achievement Award. These gardens must be visible from the street and must have been planted and maintained by their owners. A similar award is given to a business enterprise in recognition of its use of gardens or plantings for the beautification of its place. 

 

The recipients of the 2023 garden awards are:  Wendy Slate, Lowell Renner, Judith and Gary Salter, Linda Norris, and Cynthia Limberakis; Virginia Finerty, owner of Town & Beach Motel, is recipient of the business award. Award recipients will be presented with the award at a fall monthly membership meeting of the FGC.
