Falmouth Garden Club April Meeting

Doors open at 9 am; a brief meeting will begin at 9:45 am followed by the presentation.

Joan Harrison  is a founding member of the Cape Cod Hydrangea Society and a member of the American Hydrangea Society.  She has studied and authored books about hydrangeas for over 20 years while traveling to England, Belgium, France and Ireland to view beautiful garden displays.

In partnership with Heritage Museums and Gardens CCHS created the original hydrangea display garden, in 2008, with 30 donated plants. Additional varieties of specimens have been added over the years resulting in an exceptional hydrangea display. CCHS’s mission is to educate and inspire visitors to the garden at Heritage, Their members provide a dedicated team of volunteers to maintain and grow their garden, as well as act as docents especially during the annual Cape-wide Hydrangea Festival.
