Painting:  "Pigeons" by John Sloane, 1910....painted from his apartment's back window at sunset

The beauty and form of flowers is illustrated through the art of floral design. This ranges from traditional designs to exciting, new creative designs.

Each year we have a workshop on how to do a basic traditional mass design and follow that up with other design types described in the National Garden Club "Handbook for Flower Shows". In addition, members:

Provide monthly tea table designs

Provide weekly floral arrangements for the local library

Participate locally in 'Petals and Palettes' and at 'Art in Bloom' at the MFA

Enter local and regional flower shows
